Crowley-Susan Pruett Terry, 67,of Crowley passed away on May 6, 2020

Susan was born to Charles and Shirley Pruett in Fort Worth, TX on June 13, 1952. She graduated from Crowley High School in 1970 and attended broadcasting school. On August 17, 1990, Susan married Steve Terry.

Growing up an Air Force Brat, Susan spent her childhood between Crowley, Texas and Dill City, Oklahoma. She was a well-loved member of the community and most known for running the family business, Crowley Road Skate. For 15 years, Susan managed the rink, made life-long friends, and was a mother-figure to so many kids that visited or worked at the rink. The kids gravitated to her fun and energetic personality, and she became “Mom” or “Aunt Suzy” to all the kids in her life. Besides spending time with her family, Susan loved to knit, travel, collect antiques, and spend time at the beach.

Susan loved her family with all of her heart and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt,grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Pruett, and ex-husband, Stanley Patterson.

VISITATION- Friday, May 8th 6:00 to 8:00 at Baumgardner Funeral Home Fort Worth,Texas.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, May 9th 2:00 at Crowley Cemetery Crowley, Texas.

SURVIVORS-Husband, Steve Terry of Crowley; Children, Holly Priddy-
Kinnison and husband, Phillip, Shera Terry, Dawn Moody and husband, James, Chad Cogburn and wife, Roxanne; Grandchildren Fain Priddy (Holly), Addie Donawho (Holly), Ryan Lackovic (Shera) and 7 others; 5 great-grandchildren; Sister Paula Wells; Niece,Betsy Ferebee and husband, Brian; Great-nephew, Logan Ferebee; Numerous aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

  1. We had many great times with Susan. She was a go getter. She played hard and loved harder. DC basketball was one of her favorites.
    She was a straight shooter. If you asked you for her honest opinion.
    We will miss her.
